Developing a strategic plan for an individual or a family is a fairly simply process but that same process is completely inadequate for the entrepreneur/business owner.
Most salaried individuals never have to worry about benefit design. Their job usually arrives with the usual 401k, health insurance, etc and they simply take advantage.
For the entrepreneur, the question is not only how to build these benefit structures to best help incentivize their employees, but how to use the business to build benefit structures specific to their own needs. This takes a lot more work but can make a huge difference in the long run.
