Totally straightforward, right?
But completely inadequate for the entrepreneur/business owner.
Case in Point: The value of the business for its owner is likely their largest single asset in their portfolio. A business with an EBITDA of perhaps 1 million annually could be worth 4 or 5 million if sold. And this is beyond the value of providing income to the owner annually. Any planning that doesn’t consider the business as having a primary effect on wealth is worthless.
