Watch the financial news and you get the following: "Jay Powell, Donald Trump to mud wrestle over interest rates" or "Market crash coming.......sometime". Maybe I am hyping this a bit, but the general message is that the more drama the better.
This message may be true for the networks who get to scare you into watching their every story, but it is an awful thing to teach a business leader and their team.
Drama is exciting but it doesn't get any real work done. Settle down, pull your team together, communicate, and start driving toward your results.
