As of now there are approximately 30 million small businesses in the US that support almost half the private work force.
Each business is unique; some are aspiring to grow to become the next Tesla, some are lifestyle businesses that help provide the freedom and flexibility to their owners to better live their lives.
Regardless, they are a wellspring of opportunity and experimentation as each owner strives to develop better products, services and finds unique ways to serve their customers.
The news is that in the wake of the pandemic many people are leaving their jobs to form businesses to strike out on their own and to this I say, “Let’s go!”.
Small business is the spirit of the US. It is the spice that we add to the soup that makes us better every day.
For this reason, when I am asked about the growth of small business, I say “there can never be enough”.
